For listening to the channels on BBC Radios 4 channel there
are different means in which you are able to listen to the shows that they are
airing constantly. These platforms that users can use in order to listen to BBC
Radio 4 channel are:
Computer: will be able to access the internet in where they will be able to access the BBC sounds website where they are able to have access to a wide range of what the BBC has to offer in terms of channels. This can be done via any computer like device i.e. computer or laptop so long as they have a connection to the internet and can access the BBC sounds website. An alternate means of accessing the radio is using a radio tuner in where the line can be connected to the audio line and allow for the radio 4 channel to be heard.
Radio: the correct frequency for radio 4 channel will be required
in order for the devices to work for the users that are attempting to listen in.
With radio it is constantly searching for a signal input that it will be able
to understand what is going on and then play the audio that the device is able
to understand from it. This is able to work via the different means of radio as
well such as analogue, digital and internet allowing for users to listen in.
Mobile devices: will possess accesses to the “BBC Sounds” app
in which they are able to have access to the radio 4 live channel and listen to
whatever is being shown at the time. This is not limited to a specific mobile
device it is accessible via all mobile devices that have the necessary internet
connection in where they are able to listen to the radio 4 live.
