Folly effects are sounds created for a media product in order to provide the necessary effect in order to help the audience obtain a better image within their mind. Example with star wars Boba Fett he has a click as he walks around which is used to depict him as very similar to cowboys from the old west.. These can be used in creating a more accurate idea of what the media product is trying to convey and how it helps the audience to understand what is going on. 

Wild tracks are the recordings of naturally occurring sounds that are used within a media product in order to provide a more accurate idea of what is occurring in the setting. Example in home alone 2 the main character is walking around New York and the natural sounds of the city are giving the impression that he is actually in new York city. This can be used to create a more realistic impression for the audience as they watch and understand the media product. 

Theme music is a piece specifically created for a media product and is usually seen within the title sequence of the piece and is used in order to make the sequence sound better. Example the Mandalorian which was made specifically for the tv show and is played within the main introduction as well as the credits of the show. . This is usually used for interesting the audience at the begging of the show leaving them interested in what is going on within the narrative.

Film score is a piece of music that is specifically made for a film and is made to suit it in the best way possible. Example the Avengers has this score which is used within the media product that was made specifically for it. This is usually used in order to provide a better understanding of the events that occur within the narrative and fit perfectly in time with them as well and keep the audience more entertained with what they are seeing.

Characters signature tune is a specific tune that is unique to the character that is within the media product. Example the character theme for Darth Vader that is used to create the presence of the character as he is on frame of any media product. This is usually used within a sequence whenever a character is about to do something within the plot and provide the necessary impression for the audience about what is going to occur within the scene.

Incidental Music is usually serving as the piece which transitions a media product from one point within the plot to another. Example the Mr bean transition music which is used here to move the story from one point to another. . This is usually seen within younger audiences media products as they are the means in which the media product moves the narrative along.

Voice overs is when a voice is provided by no character is speaking on screen this is usually from the narrator providing explanation for a scene. Example the legend of the vox machanica uses a voice over in order to set the tone of the narrative within the first episode.   This can be done in order to provide a viewer context as to what is happening or to explain what is going on.

Scripted Speech is where the character is speaking in a specific way in which are used to give specific meanings. Example he man and the masters of the universe where the opening a explanition of the events that occur within the narrative and explain what is occurring now. This can be used to provide the audience context about what is going on in the narrative or explain why certain events are happening as they are now.
